Tomorrow is our Family Holiday Celebration. We will have a family craft that you can make with your child or children, Pizza, popcorn, desserts and drinks, and Cheryl Scoles, a professional "Storyteller" will be there to share stories of the season. The children will share a few of their special songs that we can all sing together. Hope to see everyone there.
This time of the year there is so much going on. We would like to do a special project to help those children who are not has fortunate. Homefront is a special organization that provides many special needs and programs for the homeless and disadvantage families in our community. They run a nursery school program in Mercer County and they have asked us to donate children's books and toys appropriate for any age infants through preschool. We are asking each family to bring in one wrapped item with a tag that states boy/girl toy/book and bring to school. We will have the children make up gift baskets that we can deliver to the preschool run by Homefront. Anything you can donate will be appreciated. All items need to be delivered to school by December 17,2008. Tis the season to think of others.
Remember our nursery school program will be closed from December 24 through January 2,2009. The nursery school will start again on January 5, 2009.
Our Full Day programs will be open December 29,30,2008 and January 2, 2009. We realize that many people vacation during this time, so we will not follow our regular curriculum but plan daily activities based on the number of children attending on the days we are open for Full Day students.
